Get unlimited and fast access to Irish based Doctors day or night, 365 days a year. If you’ve a concern or question for a Doctor, simply send them a message and get your question answered quickly

  • Three-quarters of queries are fully resolved via Message a Doctor*
  • Average resolution time is 3.5 minutes. This may be longer during busier periods or overnight.

Online Prescription

Get fast and convenient access to prescriptions for certain conditions, day or night, 365 days a year. Simply complete a short online questionnaire, a Doctor will assess it, and if you’re suitable for a prescription, it’ll be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.

Speak to a GP by phone or video

We understand that sometimes your concern might be a little more complex, so it helps to actually speak to a Doctor. That’s why we give you unlimited access to phone or video consultations with Irish based GPs.

Need a prescription or referral? You can get prescriptions sent directly to your preferred pharmacy, or a referral letter to see a specialist*.

*Referrals can be issued where clinically appropriate and subject to acceptance by the clinician. The virtual consultation is not suitable for referrals for diagnostics e.g. scans, imaging etc.

Speak to a GP by phone or video

Fast-track to in-person appointments

In some cases, the GP on your phone or video consultation may not be able to resolve your issues and recommend that you see a GP in-person. That’s why we’re giving you access to next day in-person appointments at one of up to 50 Centric Health clinics nationwide. With your consent, your notes from your phone or video consultation will be shared with the treating GP, so you’re not left repeating yourself and can be confident that the GP has all the information they need to give you the best care.

You must pay the Centric Health GP in full for the consultation. If you have GP cover on your plan, you may be able to claim back all or part of the cost by uploading your receipt on your online account.

Terms, conditions and data charges may apply. Digital Doctor is available on all plans (except the VIGO plan) and is provided by Centric Health. This service is not intended to replace your usual GP, it is designed for episodic, once-off conditions and not for ongoing care. Where Centric Health offers an in-person follow-up appointment, these services are subject to availability and not covered under the Digital Doctor benefit. Where you have GP cover on your plan, you may be able to claim back all of part of the cost. Appointments are subject to availability of service and individual clinic opening hours. Services are not available on weekends and bank holidays. This service is primarily intended for those who do not have an existing GP or can’t access their own GP.
